Get greasy. It's important to apply an emollient after you bathe or shower, since this can help relieve the dryness that comes with eczema. Use a rich moisturizer on the affected areas.

Apply petroleum jelly to the skin immediately after bathing to protect the skin and replenish lost moisture. Do not use water-based moisturizers or lotions with fragrance, as these often dehydrate the skin and worsen the symptoms of eczema.

In order to clear eczema, make sure to use pure tea tree oil to get the desired result. Use a cotton ball for applying tea tree oil. A couple of drops is all that is required to overcome this skin problem at the earliest. Depending upon the severity of eczema, one may have to continue application of eczema for about a month. Another way of using tea tree oil involves mixing 2 table spoons of tea in a tub of bath water.

Take Vitamin E every day and it can significantly reduce the irritating effects of eczema. Research suggests that people from 10 to 60 years old took Vitamin E for six months and their symptoms of eczema reduced greatly.

Check for allergies and stress levels and make sure that your clothes are all made of natural fibers, if possible. Primrose can greatly reduce the outbreaks and symptoms of eczema.
